Artist's Description

This painting was inspired by an old photograph of related women. I placed them in a cloistered garden. Many concepts can be drawn from this painting. Dos the wall protect them or make them wish to be in the distant city? What are their relationships to each other? I like to leave open questions in my work. This is recommended as a Holiday card.
