Artist's Description

Jamison was the lead dancer for the Alvin Ailey dance troupe. Known for stately height and fluid motions, she seemed larger than life on stage. There are no brown
paints used in this portrait. The gentle variations in color
portray a gentle musical character but strong personality.

Learn about me by following my blog on art and history. http://leartisteboots.wordpress.com/ A new blog on this site will address the methods and business of art. Click on BLOG in the header above.
