Artist's Description

My approach to this painting is to let it decide the subject. It
depicts a woman seated for her portrait or looking into her
mirror. She is holding a fan. Her robe is white but colorful with pale shade of red, blue and lavender. The background repeats
these shades with a strong red accent.

While the colors are soft, her eyes are dominant.
